PC locks itself when i exit steam

Hi, i have this weird issue going on for a while, thought its gonna get fixed but its not.
When i manually exit steam it locks my PC for no reason. And sometimes displays some drivers that i don't even need need to update etc..

Nvm i am switching the distro, honestly unstable, and nvidia drivers not being up-to-date is really hitting the point

Wow.. that was about 45 minutes where you went from I wanna fix this to nevermind I am going away from MX.

Using ddm-mx and the nVidia development repository option for a newer Driver probably would have solved it for real... That said, having gone through great difficulty with a too-new-for-Linux nVidia 4080 card I'm still very puzzled why even Debian Sid is several versions behind the current nVidia Drivers. The QSI shows the 535 driver from 2023..?
