Installation freezes switches to terminal mode [Solved]

With a system this new, you should be using the AHS edition of MX Linux.

You can try to log in when you get that prompt during a crashed installation with ID = root and PW = root. Then type startx and press enter. Many times this gets you past initial video hickups.

I have read the guide but can follow very little of it.

Can you expand on this a bit? I made section 2 as an outline to present less of a 'wall of text' to the end-users.
