try searching fonts-hack in mxpi
workspace names (very minor topic)
Re: workspace names (very minor topic)
Thank you. I will now try to setup the workspace fonts using fluxbox's toolbar.
@Melber *Update: No luck
Code: Select all

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)
You'll need the Hack Nerd font - which I believe is not in mxpi.
Check out https://www.nerdfonts.com - or download the 17mb hack-nerd-font zip-archive directly https://github.com/ryanoasis/nerd-fonts ... 0/Hack.zip
Once downloaded, you only need to extract the HackNerdFont-Regular.ttf to your home font folder

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)
sorry, my bad. Forgot I must have downloaded direct as per Cees’ links at some point. So the debian packages don't have the glyphs?
Re: workspace names (very minor topic)
Well, my bad too...
When using the HackNerdFont-Regular.ttf (that I provided a download link for above), then most of the fontawesome glyphs look partly cut-off -- and the workspace glyphs (like dice etc) do not show at all !!
However, when using an earlier version of Hack Regular Nerd Font Complete.ttf, then all glyphs are intact and display correctly...
Please feel free to download a copy of this 2022 version from my Google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hlMIlm ... sp=sharing

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)
@Melber @ceeslans I installed the Hack Nerd Font (https://www.nerdfonts.com/font-downloads) but the glyph's don't show up with fluxbox's toolbar.
@Jerry3904 @Adrian If you leave this variable blank, fluxbox names it Workspace by default. Would the system default language change it for the user?

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)
Pretty sure it would, but IMO it's ridiculously long.

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)
Why not unicode, as suggested in #1,
e.g:
U+2780 = ➀ U+2781 = ➁ U+2782 = ➂
U+2783 = ➃ U+2784 = ➄ U+2785 = ➅
U+2776 = ❶ U+2777 = ❷ U+2778 = ❸
U+2779 = ❹ U+277A = ❺ U+277B = ❻
U+2680 = ⚀ U+2681 = ⚁ U+2682 = ⚂
U+2683 = ⚃ U+2684 = ⚄ U+2685 = ⚅
Unicode: Ctrl+Shift+U and type hexcode
e.g:
U+2780 = ➀ U+2781 = ➁ U+2782 = ➂
U+2783 = ➃ U+2784 = ➄ U+2785 = ➅
U+2776 = ❶ U+2777 = ❷ U+2778 = ❸
U+2779 = ❹ U+277A = ❺ U+277B = ❻

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)
I got just the codes when I tried it, but wasn't using control. That's still my first choice, so it'd be great if it worked.

Re: workspace names (very minor topic)
So this doesn't work for me.
BUT I did a quick search for "unicode circled numbers" and got to a website where I can just click on the numbers and get the unicode. Now at least I can see how it looks (and I like it).
