Yakuake reports as dazed and confused

#1 Post by Aronticuz »

History
Posted about outta sync text echoes in Konsole.
Created a new profile in Konsole (thanks for help) and Konsole responded magnificently
Intended to update profile in Yakuake as at the time Yakuake seemed to require a new profile as well.
A day later went to create new profile in Yakuake and Lo! it had magicamicly set itself to same new profile as default.

Since then alert thing on toolbar would warn me about dazed n confused
Understanding exactly what that means I resolved to delay this report until I time I was more bothered.

Abstract
Yakuake is dazed and confused since (importing?) new profile automagically transferred from Konsole to Yakuake

I tried to take a screengrab but yakuake is very shy of Spectacle screengrab app and disappears in an uncanny manner every time Spectacle opens

This bit was copied n pasted from Yakuake not too long ago

Re: Yakuake reports as dazed and confused  [Solved]

#2 Post by Adrian »

It's a kernel message, not an yakuake one.
I've seen that in VM not on a real machine, NMI = Non-maskable interrupt
Non-Maskable Interrupt, is a special type of interrupt that cannot be ignored or disabled by standard interrupt-masking techniques. It's used to signal critical events or non-recoverable hardware errors that require immediate attention. In essence, it's a hardware signal that forces the CPU to take action, often by triggering a system reset or error handling routine.
