no option to Suspend the system

#1 Post by Bulat »

There is no option to Suspend the system.
So, in order to finish my work and switch the laptop off, I have to Shut Down the system.

BTW, in previous versions of MX-Linux I might keep my current session.
Is there no such an option now?

Re: no option to Suspend the system

Look in Settings --> Power Manager --> System tab
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

The Save Session at logout is now under the application Session and Startup | General tab.

When you go to Log Out, is the suspend option grayed out or missing or just doesnt work?

edit: added "or just doesnt work"
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.

When I go to Log Out, the Suspend doesn't work, I'm just prompted to type the password.
