Currently running 23.5 on a 2007 Macbook Pro 17" (3,1 and typing this on it) with 6GB RAM, and a 2009 white Macbook 5,2 with 2GB (one slot dead). Also my backup desktop is a 2011 Mac Mini with 16GB RAM and a 2GHz 8-thread i7, and that runs really well. Main desktop is (for the moment) Win 11, but if MS turn the screws on unsupported machines once Win 10 is killed off, then MX will become my default system. That's an i7-4790 with 32GB RAM, and smokes any OS.
Apart from the wallpaper problem, all is well.
Have tried MX on every Mac I've recently had, and it always works well.

Writing this from a 2014 HP 355 G2. I have another laptop, the first one I ever installed Linux on (MX of course) and that's a 2007 Fujitsu-Siemens. Works splendidly.
