FireFox habe ich so eingestellt, dass der Standart-Speicherort mit ~/Downloads angegeben ist.
Ich habe aber zusätzlich den Haken gesetzt, dass ich beim Speichern jedesmal gefragt werden soll, wo zu Speichern ist.
Wenn ich aber beispielsweise bei Web.de online eingeloggt bin und dort einen PDF-Anhang herunterladen möchte, dann wird das Dokument ohne jegliche Nachfrage sofort herunter geladen und gespeichert.
Da kann ich dann wärend des Speichervorgangs nichts am Dateinamen oder Speicherpfad ändern.
Abgelegt wird diese automatisch gespeicherte Datei aber nicht in Downloads sondern stumpf im Home-Verzeichnis.
Dabei wird außerdem das PDF im Browser geöffnet.
Wenn ich nun in der Werkzeugleiste der Dokumentenansicht auf Speichern klicke, erhalte ich einen Speicher-Dialog.
Das läuft aber darauf hinaus, dass ich das Dokument zwei mal auf dem Rechner habe, bzw mein Homeverzeichnis vollgemüllt wird, weil ich vielleicht gar nicht erkannt habe, das der Dokumentenansicht ein automatischer Speichervorgang vorangegangen ist.
Das nervt halt.
