Any extensions installed will have to be reinstalled.
Yes, I did all the options, the Google site is blocked. I looked for documents and they said that by default, Google sites are blocked with the box checked: Security: Query OCSP responder servers to confirm the current validity of certificates

Tomorrow I will test it, and I will also test Mullvad and let you know

Thanks for the answers

Did you delete the ~/.librewolf folder?
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

You could also just create a new user, then log in as that user, to get a fresh, unsullied set of Librewolf settings.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Yes, I deleted the folders perfectly, and the Google website is still down.
Did you delete the ~/.librewolf folder
Does anyone using Librewolf want to see the security printout turned on with the browser open from YouTube or Google
It's not working on my computer, I restart the internet many times, the browser was designed to block Google with security turned on, I read their documents.
With security turned off, Google opens perfectly, but the browser is at risk of security due to the certificate being disabled, I think.
I'm not experienced in the browser area, I'm a beginner, but I have good knowledge to configure it.
Thanks for the answers :fox:

The browser is perfect, librewolf, but Google sites are blocked by default in the browser. segurança enable , Query OCSP responder servers to confirm the current validity of certificates , google no working
They only work with security disabled. I've tried enabling security, but Google doesn't work.

The librewolf browser is NOT designed to block it. The "documents" your reading are not correct. As I stated, as well as others, we are having no issues with this.

Are you in a VPN ?

Have you created / tried with to connect with a new profile?

Have you properly removed all .librewolf and .cache ? before reinstalling from MX package installer?
( Load Stacer, remove librewolf, and remove ALL application and other caches with stacer... then reboot and reinstall librewolf )
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

Yes, Charles, I deleted Librewolf and deleted the files in the folder you mentioned, everything was fine.

I restarted the Linux MX distro and installed Librewolf in the repositories from the Linux MX store.

I opened the Google website and YouTube doesn't access the sites. I've tried everything and it doesn't work.

It could even be a problem with my internet connection, but I don't think so. Firefox works perfectly with Google websites and YouTube by default.

test it in the Charles browser and let me know with the print, thanks

Post the links you are having problems with so we can test them on our IP connections.

This "it works for me" / "it doesn't work for me" back and forth isn't helping anyone. It is not sufficient to say it "doesn't work", and it does not help to say "it does". Based on the information we have so far, I'm assuming the error is a security warning, able to be enabled and disabled by checking or unchecking the OCSP option under Security > Certificates.

So why are we not actually checking the certificates? I can load Google on an old install of LibreWolf. OK... so it works for me, too.

But why?

I can check the TLS certificate Google uses to encrypt the connection to www.google.com. It's signed by Google Trust Services.

I can click "View Certificates" in LibreWolf's Certificates settings and confirm that the Google Trust Services that issued www.google.com cert shows up as a valid Certificate Authority. So far, so good.

I can also inspect the Authority Info of the www.google.com cert, and I see that the OCSP endpoint is http://o.pki.goog/wr2 and there's a .crt file I can fetch at http://i.pki.goog/wr2.crt. OK. I can do an DNS lookup on o.pki.goog, an ANY record is best to use here, and I see that that URL has a CNAME redirection to pki-goog.l.google.com. Another ANY query for pki-goog.l.google.com and it resolves to an IP address. OK, so what does that mean?

It means that I can get to Google in LibreWolf only because each step of the certificate validation process that LibreWolf follows doesn't fail.

Walk through the process. Pinpoint where the process fails.

Good morning,

LibreWolf has all the certificates verified. With the default installation, Google sites and Google services have their certificates blocked, warning that it is unsafe and not opening the sites.

On my computer, LibreWolf did not work; I installed it and it was ready for use, but it opened Google, YouTube, and Gmail, and then it stopped working. :frown:

I joined the LibreWolf community and also researched the topic. They advised to disable security. Try to change certificate settings under the "Privacy & Security" tab or disable "Force OCSP hard-fail" under LibreWolf settings.

I am switching to Firefox or testing Mullvad.

The only solution was to disable the security to make Google sites work. The community informed about LibreWolf; you can look it up. I will mark the topic as resolved, but the problem lies with the developer; they shouldn't block Google sites by default. Beginner users access Gmail and search for tutorials on YouTube to learn. In any case, I appreciate it. Thank you."

Thank you for the responses.

I apologize for the inconvenience and for any questions.

Thank you very much. :fox:
