Of course, this is not a viable solution
The solution is to completely uninstall the screensaver and replace it with light-locker.
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

I will try it. What is the name of the package light-locker?

Light locker does not work. When I started from the command line it gives me the following error:
Gtk-Message: 07:53:53.970: Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module"

** (light-locker:2345): ERROR **: 07:53:53.978: session_id is not set, is /proc mounted with hidepid>0?

The problem remains even with MX 23.5 After 2 hours of screensaver mode the screen went to black and I could not login or use the control + alt + f2 combination to open any console. Any suggestion?

Wild guess. Check bios if power managment deep sleep in s4 s5 is enabled. If so disable it.
Deep Sleep
When checked, reduces power consumption while in S3/S4/S5 to extend battery life.
NOTE: Enabling deep sleep disables some wake events such as wake on USB.
default - checked
My HP laptop has deep sleep. It can only be awoken from its slumber by pressing the power button.
It's for a hp, may apply to your problem.

Thank you but it is not a laptop. It is a Dell all in One desktop.
