MX Linux with runit init

#1 Post by jari »

I wonder if anyone have tried to use runit as an init instead of sysvinit. I realized that since debian 12, runit is well supported and even offers some scripts to the main services but I find myself wondering if that can be a good idea. SO, I want to heard any opinions, advice or even about the feasible problems and cons that might arise once I tried that.

A lot of the core of MX Linux is in common with antiX, which has several runit base 'versions' offered https://antixlinux.com/download/
