dkms nvidia and virtualbox problems

#1 Post by TuxNuX »

For some time now, the nvidia and virtualbox dkms when a kernel is updated no longer launch to install the modules on the new kernel I noticed this problem with the liquorix kernel because it is often updated and I only use it but maybe the problem is on the other kernels
I don't have this problem with other dkms like rtl8812au-dkms, rtl8821ce-dkms etc

To reinstall the nvidia and virtualbox modules I use

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get --reinstall install --install-recommends nvidia-kernel-dkms virtualbox-dkms
And everything works fine

You'd also have to get the Nvidia driver and VBox from our AHS section for them to build on 6.12 kernels.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing
