Excellent!

(However: you have also quoted some of your own words above as mine ;), I didn't say "MX have standart soft for choise other kernel?", hehe.)

Great to hear it worked this well. The network problem I don't have a ready-to-try answer, however, as I need to be going again just now xD

VINRARUS wrote: Sun Feb 09, 2025 2:02 am But a new problem has arisen: now the network card always disconnects when exiting hibernation, so I have to reboot the OS to restore the Internet connection. :bricksfall:
I see exists MX with Liquorix (but why not with KDE?), so how fix this problem?
It is funy, but restarted network card driver once do fix this problem permanently (until reboot).

Code: Select all

rmmod igc; modprobe igc
So, I can add this command to autorun for fix network problem forever?

I started to use MX Linux because of SysVinit and it has been working fine. I prefer it over systemd since I don't like over-engineering. However, there is a practical side. 90 % of Linux users probably use systemd. So what do devs test? A dev who tests their Flatpak app will test it with systemd (just general advice since this problem seems to be solved now).

This might be true for your second problem. Your QSI indicates you are booting with SysVinit. My advice is to try systemd and see if this improves your Internet connection after hibernation. There are known issues using SDDM (KDE also uses SDDM as lock screen) with SysVinit.
Note to self and others: SysVinit is a good option. However if you run into problems try with systemd first. This applies to AppImages, Flatpaks, GitHub packages and even some Debian packages.

system:D is my enemy.
:anispider2:
I started studying Linux without system:D, and when I encountered it, I had only problems.

For this I must instal/update MX to Debian?
In MX standart core after hibernation Internet connection work normal in 95% cases, but on Liquorix kernel in 100% cases connection drop down... before I do once restart network card driver.
