remaster clarification
remaster clarification
I'm going to start by apologizing, there is something I don't quite understand about "remaster". So, I run MX 23.5, as a live system, with root persistence, from an SSD attached to a USB adapter cable. Works great. I've done remasters in the past, no problem. So, When I ran the "Remaster", I would do a "personal", so I don't lose my settings, then say "yes" to " do you want to save files under /home in the new remaster". I've always clicked "yes" to this. When I reboot, I choose "no" to save the session, then I get asked to make up a new persistence file, choose the size, say "no" to "swap", then it keeps booting to the desktop. There is the "Live USB Storage" folder in "/home/demo/", whick contains whatever I've downloaded, etc... I don't change anything. If I click "no", to the question of saving files under /home", what would happen? Thank you.

Re: remaster clarification
the Live-Usb-Storage folder would remain, but whatever is in home, if home is in the root persistence file, would be lost to whatever is in the default remaster linuxfs file.
