Ich habe die Dateisuche in den Systemeinstellungen aktiviert. (Auch Dateiinhalte und versteckte Ordner)
Aber die Indizierung hängt bei 27 % fest!

Wäre für Ratschläge dankbar.

Hallo, Uweles.

Meiner wirklich geringen Erfahrung nach , die ich mit kDE habe, liegt es daran, dass Baloo beim Indizieren an irgend einem Umlaut ( ä,ö,ü ) oder Sonderzeichen wie ", festhängt.

Hatte ich für mich nach nervigen, vergeblichen Versuchen als unüberwindbar eingestuft.
Was schade ist, da ich den Suchkomfort bei KDE eigentlich sehr praktisch finde. ( sofern die Hardware genug Leistung bietet. )

Jedenfalls, weil ich es nicht reparieren konnte, benutze ich auch bei KDE FSearch.
Das kann man auch auf Dauer- bzw Echtzeit-Indizieren stellen, wenn das keine Problem für die Hardware darstellt.

Da hast du recht!
Ich habe mich für Recoll entschieden, da es alles mitbringt, was man sich nur wünschen kann.
Echtzeit Indizierung und klasse Suchoptionen.
