Installig MX Linux on a external disk.

Can I install MX Linux on a external disk from my Mac Mini 4 and use the disk to boot from? My Mac Mini 4 has 16 GB Memory. The external disk is SDD is one T bit. This way I could use the disk only for running MX Linux. I won't need another computer. Thanks for all you help.

Have you tried to run it in Virtualbox on the Mac Mini?
