Linux Game Fractalus

#1 Post by gimcrack »

I'm always looking out for Linux games. Since I been using Linux for the past 21 years. I never gave up gaming. I just changed how I game. Found this great game for Linux call Fractalus. Easy to download and run. Download the tzg file, extract it and run the ./Fractalus file.

Controls are

Throttle up: A
Throttle Down: Z
Fire: Space
Systems: S
Airlock: A
Land/Launch: L
Boost: B

Launch from Mothership press Enter

You'll be going to the planet below rescuing pilots that crash there and return to Mothership. Land near them, blinking light radar and sound will tell when you're close. You have to land near them and shut off systems before the pilot will approach you. Open up airlock when they knock on ships door. Turn Systems back on and launch and repeat until you rescue all. Hit boost to go back to Mothership.

Having a great time playing this game. Never here of it. 1.1.0 - 2023-05-12. Great graphics, if you have the hardware to run this game.

Thx ... I will try it. ;-)
A fan remake of Rescue on Fractalus, a classic game developed by Lucasfilm Games originally released on Atari, Commodore 64 and other platforms in 1984.

Edit: run fine into MX19amd64 here.
