I used Reddit once, the website was not able to function due to rules. I hope it is not like that in MX Linux forums :)

Re: Uninstalling Software Error in MX Linux
You can use Synaptic or apt in the terminal to uninstall packages if MXPI is confusing, but we'd like to see what's going on with MXPI, if you don't mind.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Re: Uninstalling Software Error in MX Linux
There IS a way to uninstall a package in the MX Package Installer. You check the package and then at the bottom of the dialog screen, on the right there is an uninstall button.EmilianoZapata wrote: Thu Jan 16, 2025 1:59 am
There is not unistall part in Package Installer, I do not know why but it looks in checkbox not installed.
If there will be someone in some problem, we will have the solution.
As for the QSI ( Quick System Info ) If you click on the MX Menu, you should see Quick System Info in the VERY first page of applications, at the bottom - OR by typing in quick.
You can also run QSI from the terminal with the following command:
Code: Select all
quick-system-info-gui
Code: Select all
inxi -Fxxxrza
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.

I do not have a language belongs to me. I speak Turkish in my normal life but I am Kurdish. I do not speak Kurdish because nobody know how to read and write so I could not learn it. So I use English for everything. I do not struggle in English, if speaking person is not in Western superiority mode, no offense.

Your attitude here, exactly as you just posted... is a problem. I have not seen anyone respond to you with "Western superiority mode"EmilianoZapata wrote: Thu Jan 16, 2025 7:10 pmj2mcgreg wrote: Thu Jan 16, 2025 11:27 am @EmilianoZapata

There are rules here. You are not following the rules. If you continue you will get an official warning and or will get banned. This is a friendly warning - please refrain from attitude.

I will be careful about my attitude.I recom you also being equal to every member as a friendly recommendation.Just to remind you know.May be he did not mean something bad, I misunderstood him but banning someone from forum should not be so easy because of a little argument. It may happen. So as a normal member, a newbie, ı recommend you to give chance to new members as a moderator.
