Where can I post "my" Conky?

#1 Post by PixLab »

Hello I did transform/strongly modified, a Conky thingy, combining multiple elements, and coloring it my way, it's best for dark wallpaper, although I could make one fitting best clear/light wallpaper.

I would like to give it to the community or any people interested, or why not if the MX Linux's team find it nice enough to accept it to put it in MX Linux, but I don't know where to upload it.... :p

The only original copyright I did find on a script is "GNU GPL license, version 3 or later" which I think is perfect :happy:

Any suggestion about where to upload/post it?

thanks for reading

I don't know about the file kind and size limits to attaching to a forum post, you could try it. And otherwise you can host it somewhere that it can be downloaded from.

It would be pretty amazing if a text conky, plus the other items, exceeded the limit, but pastebin sites will allow you to put up all that text, too.

https://github.com/lorien/awesome-pastebins
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing
