issues with KDE system settings

#1 Post by django013 »

Hi,

I don't know exactly when this started, I've noticed it since the hiccups went away:
the audio settings are no longer saved and the computer starts with the wrong settings (in 4 out of 5 cases), so I have no sound at startup.
Audio-device 2 (Matisse HD) is NOT connected, but is always activated as the primary output device and the NVidia card is deactivated.

This is extremely annoying, having to open the system settings every time after startup to correct the audio settings.

Is there no way to switch to static setup?

Can you disable the on-board audio in BIOS?
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

Hi,

I disabled onboard-audio in BIOS and nvidia-sound is now the only audio device, but system starts with nvidia-card disabled
