Unable to find BSSID?

Recently acquired an HP Ryzen 17-cp3036cl that came with Win 11. I installed MX23.4 but overwrote the Win install. Upshot, now wifi no longer connects.

Would appreciate any insights to connect wifi.

Thought to reinstall MX again to see if if finds wifi. Dont think I have sufficient info on Win 10 or 11 to reinstall & start over preserving Win11. Not a big issue just need wifi working.

Thanks for your time & thoughts.

(1) On late model HP 15 and 17 laptops, the bios is configured so that if you need to disable Secure Boot, you will only be allowed to install LInux or BSD. In this situation dual booting is no longer allowed.
(2) On my HP 15 which is the same generation as your HP 17, I had to upgrade to a Liquorix kernel in order to get WiFi working. I started with the 6.2.xxx and am now using the 6.6.12-1. There's ample evidence here in the forums that a Liquorix kernel is the best choice for Ryzen based systems and that they solve a lot of problems including WiFi that crop up with the default Debian kernels.
For reference, here's my QSI:

Before you get fish-slapped by a certain moderator here, please provide a QSI for the new machine. You can save it to a file there, and then move it to your connected machine to post it.

Did the wi-fi work on the Live session before install?
Perhap it might with our AHS edition.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

Thanks Steve & FullScale4Me!

I think wifi worked from USB but I'll just put AHS and perhaps save time.

Thanks, ever so much. Was having an issue with external monitor as well which may be resolved as well.

This is the first brand new laptop since my first a Toshiba 286 back about 1990.

OK. I'll post a QSI when I get online, hopefully soon.

Well, yes, brand new hardware may very well require the AHS edition as the base Debian stable release that regular MX uses gets older and older.
