Is there a way to reset nouveau drivers?

Just a bit of an update. The MX Desktop is still bothering my eyes a bit, and that is with using two different monitors so I think I'll reformat. I think the game ended up screwing something up that is affecting both the nouveau drivers and nvidia drivers. Reinstalling the Nvidia drivers still really bothers my eyes. Thankfully with the nouveau drivers it isn't so bad but there is still an issue.

I may have mentioned this before, but I got the game to screw things up in exactly the same way on Windows 7, which was just changing the game resolution screwed up my desktop. I was able to get it back to what seemed about 95% through reinstalling my video drivers.

I have found that part of the problem is my allergies and so taking eye drops and allergy medicine has helped. I did go to the eye Dr and he said my eyes were fine.

However it is still a huge difference in how I feel when using my laptop with Lubuntu where there is no problem at all, and MX. On MX my eyes feel overwhelmed and I even feel a bit nauseous. I have tried to play with the brightness and contrast but I haven't found a good solution. And again I never had a problem until I changed the resolution settings in that game - which also changed my desktop resolution.

Also an interesting thing is I used Steam's "Remote Play" to play the game on my laptop while using my MX PC as the host and it started bothering me on my laptop.

If I was to play that game again, is there a way to Sandbox so it doesn't mess with the settings? Also I was thinking, maybe I could just buy a thumbdrive and use that for games. Is there a way to make the live version have more than 3 gigs of space? Or would I just install the OS on the thumbdrive through the LIVE installer?
