What happened with zzzFM?

#1 Post by Senpai »

Hi:
What happened with zzzFM?, in MX-21 was talking about moving it to stable repositories viewtopic.php?t=69200&hilit=zzzFM and now I don't see it even in test repositories....
Is it possible to have it in MX-23? even in Test?

Best regards

I don't know. Probably no one asked for it.

You can download from antiX repo and see if it works OK.

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

I looked at it a couple of years ago and liked it, but it's no longer being developed and I concluded it could use but won't likely get some attention.

As I recall I think it's source code is 'Debianized' and it's fairly straightforward to compile and can be compiled for both GTK2 and GTK3. I built it with some customized Icon substitutions a couple of years ago, I don't believe it has seen further work since then. I believe it's developer had serious health concerns unfortunately.

Sorry to hear that, I will try it from the antiX repos that dolphin_oracle sent, thanks to all.
