Can you add that to the development ideas thread please? Also, flag DO for inclusion in Tweak at least for the pi people.

Thanks.

@Jerry3904 If you are referring to my picom post, I will first make a package request to have it updated
from 9.1 (Feb 2022) to the latest 12.5 and add it to the MX-25 thread and tag dolphin.

I've setup my boot to using pseudo-transparency and when I want some fancy desktop dressing, I enable picom (with a customized conf file) and logout and log in.

Current boot is 600MB but if I disable the Emby server and NordVPN, it drops to 318MB. Not bad for a systemd init.

Good evening FB'ers.

One of the features of mx-21FB is that it doesn't let you save anything on your desktop, and it's fantastic. With a clean desktop and the pointer over it, I thought it might be useful to take advantage of the fact that we have free controls on the mouse. Through the following photos, I show you the concept of use.

Image
Click on desktop and the menu will open, close to you. This function will save light years of universal pointer displacements.

Image
Mouse wheel makes windows cycle, if any.
NOTE: If you preferred, this wheel function could also be used to control de volume up and down, or mute with wheel mouse center click, over the desktop.

Image
Click and drag left open thunar.

Image
Click and drag right open terminal.

Personally, I use sloppy mode mouse over=activate window, and a single click to open files. My concepts are based on the economy of effort, trying to eliminate in light years the distance traveled over 2-D space by the pointer of the millions of users on the planet. Increasing productivity and relieving pain for so many hands. Therefore, these advances can be quantifiable both in astronomical distance traveled and in direct benefit for the health of users, with its corresponding economic impact.

Thank you for reading.

Same here. If the trees haven't dropped their leaves, they are turning to a yellow/red color, which is nice but I prefer the green leaves.

I didn't have too much trouble. This time around I started with the Grass GTK theme (https://www.pling.com/p/1726175/),
used the plain_green style (http://tenr.de/styles/?i=10) from tenre.de web site and found this cool looking background image (https://www.pexels.com/photo/green-gras ... s-1287089/).
Then I used gpick to fine tune the colors for the conky's and tint2.
