XFCE Edition. Just installed latest. App toolbars covered by MX toolbar....

#1 Post by beersloth »

Hi,
I feel dumb. This has not happened to me before. I installed the latest version of MX. I went to toolbar preferences and changed the setting to horizontal. Now the toolbar is at the top of the screen where I want it, BUT every single app opens "under" or "behind" the toolbar such that I cannot access browser minimize and similar functions on any app.

I have messed with this for a while and even reinstalled. I do not know what to do.

Try using MX Tweak to change the location. That's the first thing I do.
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

i was able to get that to stop happening in an mx 23 xfce virtual machine by removing the check in front of "Keep panel above windows" in the Display tab in the Panel Preferences settings. that shows up in the menu as just Panel or at the bottom left of MX Tweak as a button also labeled Panel.

You may although try margins under workspace setting
