MX Fluxbox Screenshots
Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots
Yup, surely didn't invent it, just added a standard simple one to the default install.

My current clean and simple desktop.
T2 toolbar with weather. Simplified conky. T2 dock with action buttons to suspend, reboot and shutdown.

This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

Nice setup!
fb-toolbar + conky + tint2-dock in a great combo
EDIT: sorry, now noticed that toolbar is not fluxbox native, but tint2
still a great setup...

That's why I typed T2 toolbar and T2 dock.

The flux23 text launches app finder. When you click on the clock it launches gsimplecal.

"Threw together"

Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots
@AVLinux
ok, I meant I threw the wallpaper together. The gtk theming has been a work in progress for a while now.
Panel is just a slight reworking of the existing workspaces tint2 and the fluxbox style is an updated comfort with new window decorations.

It looks great!
A minor note: The thick titlebar looks good, but for me it means unnecessary loss of space. I know that it fits well with the titlebar from modern gtk3/4 themes, but the gtk-titlebar contains more functions, menus etc. that justify the size. In my opinion, for the fluxbox-titlebar it is not the case.

Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots
and I have always found the "standard" fluxbox titlebars way too thin. There's a reason I made a comfort-plus fb-style.kobaian wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2024 2:17 am A minor note: The thick titlebar looks good, but for me it means unnecessary loss of space. Will likely make an alternative thin titlebar version at some point in the future...
