Decided that with cold rain, politics, local issues and the Forum problems, it was time for me to lighten up.

I'm using addy's "liness" tint2 theme, the traditioinal LemonSpace for window manager, the Greybird-mx for applications, @ceeslans conky and a friend's incredible image of a blue heron.

Beautiful light desktop - and a great! wallpaper. Any chance you can share the image?
Also curious about addy's "liness" tint2 theme; I guess it was in 'autohide' state when quickshooting....

I tried to get permission to share the image, but finally was unsuccessful. The theme is not hidden, it's just nearly invisible (what I was looking for) Your conky matches it up beautifully!

Usually I create my themes based on background images I'm using but this time I did it based on the colors of my icon set (MB-Mango-Suru-GLOW).
quickshot_241014_044643.png

I changed the font colors of the fluxbox style (tron-blue) to match the icon colors.

Then I edited my conky's background to match the icon color and added a tron-blue border to match.

I kept the colors of my tint2 toolbar I was using from a previous theme but changed it's font colors to match the new theme.

I found an image that is included with MX-23 (by accident) called School_cardboard_project and it was like putting in the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle.

I've edited my init file to have all programs open with no titlebars.

Code: Select all

session.screen0.defaultDeco:	BORDER
I then edited my apps file to have my terminal window open with no decorations.

Code: Select all

[app] (name=xfce4-terminal) (class=Xfce4-terminal)
  [Position]	(UPPERLEFT)	{68% 11%}
  [Deco]	{NONE}
  [Close]	{yes}
[end]

This has to be my second favorite theme I've created after my N-Log theme from awhile ago.

This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

Light desktop, Round 2: I'm liking this more and more...

--switched to addy's "neon" theme, adapted to use icons and darken line color
--changed appfinder to "ultra-light," changed highlight color
--changed to "mx-comfort" for windows << still need to figure out how to change top bar to LemonSpace color
--added transparent systray and clock (colored it so I could easily spot it) that I had created for a Pi OpenBox respin
