Grub version depricated warning after update

Ok, you upgraded your system manually in resp. to GRUB to the debian backports version. I guess probably with good intention.
It would not have upgraded automatically to the backports version.
But GRUB is a complicated package suite, and just upgrade such a thing
to the backports version, may create further and future issues.
The "smallest" issue you are now facing are the deprecation warnings.
I would not be surprised if you facing in future other issues.
Going back to the stable-version is probably possible,
but GRUB framework involves quite a number of config settings, with lots
of checks which version was upgraded adjusted etc.
And MX itself does have also some tweaks added to this game.
For now the only advice, I can give ignore the warnigns.
Another one, do not blindly upgrade to backports version, in doubt ask here in the forum.

The only way I can think of, maybe you clicked on the Backports tab with MXPI and selected all upgradable,
b/c without backports-repos enabled you would not get any upgrade from there.

And even if you had somehow temporarily enabled backports repo, e.g with mx-repo-manager.
those packages from backports do have a lower "priority" of "100" compared
to the stable repo of "500". Which means apt and co. would not auto upgrade to the low-priority version.

Perhaps post apt-history found with QSI-Tool.
Select apt-history, and post here.
