xfce4-notes background change

#1 Post by popjah »

Hi all,

I'm trying to change the background of the sticky notes window without success (the "Properties" -> "Configure the plugin" dialogue box doesn't have the option to change the background, which is currently yellow with white font in the toolbar).

Things I tried:

Edited ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css
Edited ~/.config/xfce4/xfce4-notes.css
Changed the appearance theme in xfce settings
Uninstalled, restarted, installed

None of the above worked, and I'm still getting a sticky note background that is difficult to read because the contrast is too high (white and yellow).

Any idea how to change the background?

Thanks!

Upgrade to 1.11.0 (found in the MX Package Installer test repo)

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.

Thanks for this. Could never stand that yellow background. (I know it's a personal taste thingy).
It works fine from the test repo.
