I like it!!!
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Note to self and others: SysVinit is a good option. However if you run into problems try with systemd first. This applies to AppImages, Flatpaks, GitHub packages and even some Debian packages.

Thanks everyone but Nope, Nope, This is NOT FINAL version,
This is only first impression. So Final is more different and greater ever(in my head).

I changed my schedule, I make version final candidate tonight. (but I'm not hurry)

dreamer wrote: Fri Aug 23, 2024 9:57 am I think this is a very nice improvement over the current Plymouth theme. More refined and subtle.

I appreciate the current one as well and the technical hurdles that had to be overcome to create it.

My biggest ”complaint” regarding the current MX Plymouth theme is that I think it is too big. I think a logo should be a subtle and small ”mark of quality”. If it takes up a large portion of the screen it’s too much in my opinion.

I hope this new version can find its way into MX Linux, at least as an alternative Plymouth theme. And if there will be a small version (think Apple or Microsoft), it would be even better.

Ok, enough said. Well done!
You're right, I think same.

KDE like design?

Keep in mind that that can trigger an episode in people sensitive to flashing. We don't want to risk that.

Sorry, i didn’t think about it. I hide current animation and remake.

That’s popular problem in video art world…

I want to express an “twinkle star” motion,
Why? T.H.E. MX Logo expressing sky and mountains, and dawn. Moon. Sun. Sky. Sunshine. Mountains. So I want to add “star” in new boot animation.

My today’s my usual work end soon, I’ll add “One Shooting Star(or Comet) to animation.

Too flashy caused by toggle key frame, omit that and edit to more mild taste.
