Hi,
In Plasma I have made a custom highlight color in the default MX comfort breeze theme. It works in both KDE/QT and GTK applications so that's all good, however it is not reflected in the Panel which still shows the medium blue MX default highlight color. This is after several shutdowns and reboots so it's not simply in need of a fresh Login. Is there a way to change the panel color separately?
Custom Highlight Color in Plasma not reflected in Panel [Solved]
Re: Custom Highlight Color in Plasma not reflected in Panel
I created my own custom colour scheme
Settings > Appearance > Colours, edit en existing scheme and save it (if you want to back it up, the location is ~/.local/share/color-schemes)
Settings > Appearance > Colours, edit en existing scheme and save it (if you want to back it up, the location is ~/.local/share/color-schemes)

I had been trying out some other themes and colors and there was indeed a colors file in ~/.local/share/color-schemes but it was for an 'Artim' theme I had tried, there was no custom color theme created for the highlight color I had created for MX-Comfort-Breeze which I think is odd, there should be a new colors file for any customization of any theme you would think... Anyway, I deleted the Artim one, then I started fresh creating a custom highlight for MX-Comfort-Breeze and then it worked on the Panel...? But even though it now works why didn't it create a new colors file in ~/.local/share/color-schemes..?
Lol, Enlightenment is not the only DE with quirks I guess... I'm enjoying visiting KDE Plasma so far but I've had some of settings either not take effect or only take effect after several boots... I have a lot of RAM on this machine so it is not frugal with any DE and I will say KDE uses about 1.4Gb booting to Desktop with htop running and Enlightenment uses about 850Mb with a very similar compositing experience. I see more professional edges in KDE but I'm not delighted with the extra resource usage...
