Why do GNOME apps take forever to open in KDE?

Help with the version of MX KDE officially released by the Development Team.
When asking for help, use Quick System Info from MX Tools. It will be properly formatted using the following steps.
1. Click on Quick System Info in MX Tools
2. Right click in your post and paste.

Strangely, Marble shows me atrocious image resolution no matter how much I tweak the settings. GNOME Maps may be an annoyance to open, but it has perfect image quality.
I just checked and you are right, the satellite images are awful. Haven't used it for a while. Google Earth on the other side has much better images, but I have no idea how it performs on your machine. It's worth checking.
