"If you like only" you can also do one of these:
Make systemd the default with "MX Boot Options" (at least till it's solved)
or install lightdm (it worked fine for another KDE user in another thread, so: "proven to work").

sddm must be installed.

Re: actions disabled on sddm!
That is what i have done for now...Make systemd the default with "MX Boot Options" (at least till it's solved)
Another thing i see is that /etc/sddm.conf is empty
Maybe is that i had XFCE installed and on top of that installed KDE...All the options are available for me with an installed MX-23.3 KDE booted to sys-v.
Removed XFCE but lightdm is still installed!!!
How can i switch from sddm to lightdm?or install lightdm (it worked fine for another KDE user in another thread, so: "proven to work").
Re: actions disabled on sddm!
Code: Select all
sudo dpkg-reconfigure lightdm
Re: actions disabled on sddm!(solved)!
Thank you all for your help people!!! Lightdm saved the day...sudo dpkg-reconfigure lightdm
now on sysvinit again!!!
