Good evening.
I would like to install MX 23.3 only the operating system, i.e. quasi naked without programmes,
but with the actual security updates.
Is there a ready solution?
e.G ISO or internetbased installation?
Regards
Karl

You can also dress-down the system by booting a regular Live-USB, removing all the apps you do not want, then updating it and run the installer. The software changes you make running live will be integrated into the installed system, and that includes all the removals and updates performed while running live.
Actually, the preferred method for installation is to install all the updates while running live first, then run the installer.
There are many ways to "make it your own" built right into the Live USB. If you have enough RAM you can boot a Live USB and select the option to run from RAM, meaning you can remove the Live-USB stick after the Desktop loads, format it or do anything else you want to, including remaking it by way of burning a snapshot ISO you created during the live session of the dressed down state. 16GB recommended for such an op to make sure you don't run out of memory, but doable for smaller ops with only 8GB RAM provided there is a swap partition available for use on the machine because MX Live will use any swap partition it finds on boot, and of course, a means of continuing operations should there be a power loss.
