Did you go with a liquorix kernel?
Or just a different version?

Liquorix 6.6

I haven't really look into kernels, I went for 6.6 since the device is very recent. It seems liquorix make sens for this same reason.

It happened twice again... should I try more recent or older kernel? I'm on 6.6 liquorix

What are you doing when it crashes?
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

It generally happens when I come back to the computer. It also seems quite random. I'm currently trying 6.7, I suppose it's gonna be hit or miss.

Solved.

It wasn't the kernel. It was the Kingston SSD. Here's the fix:

etc/default/grub

Change this line, set lattency to 5500 as follow:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=5500"

Then
sudo update-grub
