Did you go through the usual steps?damians wrote: Sun Apr 21, 2024 10:13 am Hello I reinstalled MX Linux Xfce on my PC, but now when I connect the PC to the Bluetooth speaker, no sound comes out.

- Confirm that an external speaker is on and enabled
- Left-click the speaker icon in the systray and use the pull-down menu to change from default “Built-in Audio etc.” to the external speaker.
- Test by playing a streaming site, an installed music app such as audacious or another source
- Adjust volume by scrolling up or down while holding the cursor over the speaker icon
- If problems arise, left-click the speaker icon again and click “Audio mixer.” Start a music source, and click on the mixer’s “Output Devices” or “Playback” tab to change settings.

HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;
In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Re: speaker Bluetooth not working
Of course, essentially after connecting to the Bluetooth speaker you have to right-click in the Systray volume icon at the bottom right and in the menu choose the external speaker.
