Blog page problem

#1 Post by chrispop99 »

When viewing the latest Blog page and attempting to step back to earlier ones, it fails with an 'Oops! That page can't be found' message.

Not sure how you are doing that "step back" part. I clicked on the latest Blog, then clicked "News" on the top menu bar and could navigate to any one I wanted from the list. It also worked if I went back to the home page and clicked the earlier one.

I used the 'Next' link, and the number links, at the bottom of the page.

I use Vivaldi as my daily web browser, and that "Next <arrow>" link works as expected. It is Chromium-based, unlike Firefox, so maybe the difference between our experiences lies under the hood.

Do the child links on the top bar work for you, e.g. Repos > Overview?

EDIT: those links work here on FF 125.

Just an fyi - MX21.3 and ff 125 here and all work ok.
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.

If I go directly to the blog from my bookmark and click the '2' link for the next page, it tries to go to:

https://mxlinux.org/blog/page/2/

but if I use the 'News' link at the top of the page, then select the '2' link, it directs correctly to:

https://mxlinux.org/mx-linux-blog/page/2/

so it looks like something changed since I bookmarked the blog. I have updated my bookmark, and all works now as it should.
