antiX screenshots

#1 Post by rokytnji.1 »

Did a search 1st in the antiX section of the forum to see if thread already existed. Gave up after 3 pages,
Mine is combo of MX wallpaper from Freja.
Modern conky by PPC.
Ft11 running on top of icewm.
Things can be turned off and on in preferences and logout and login to bring back to stock.

Looks pretty modern for icewm.

Image Image

Edit: Forgot to mention. If needing the stock menu. Right click provides it.

VERY cool !
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

Other IBM laptop. 1tb ssd started locking up. Probably because I dropped it on the floor way back when I installed it.
Put a spinner 300 gig Samsung sata in it. That I had on the shelf.
Could not take a snapshot because of ssd lockups.
Running live only wants to take a snapshot of live run.
So install from scratch.
Took a couple of days to straighten things out.
End result.

I can live with this fresh install.

I LOVE those! I was always attracted to antiX because NO systemd and ultralight. I always wanted to try a "antiX-bang" mixture (Openbox).

My chromebook install. I don't get real fancy because of limited drive space. I am just happy with all hardware working.

Just a motorcycle saddlebag travel netbook that links to my phone used a data hot spot when no internet access around a campfire in the desert.
Plays movies and everything.

I love my conky gauges, especially for my little 2-core processor and 2G of ddr3 1600 RAM, but they aren't real pretty. Is there a stylized conky with nicer looking gauges? Or how would I learn how to make a more attractive conky?
