@dolphin_oracle This sounds like you will change anything.
Should I make the change from post #9 back. So that your change can then take effect and not be hindered? Or should I leave the change as it is?

I have tried out hibernate yesterday. It did not work.
-> But today it works.
Actually the only thing I have changed was the edit in post #9 and I have made a ordinary MX-update.
Can it be, that this has also something to do with the boot-edit from post #9 or has it something to do with the recent update we got via MX-Updater that had included a kernel update?
Edit: I mean, that somehow when it boots, it has to detect, that there is a hibernate image available. (?)

Imho this (memtest thing) is completely irrelevant.
