3 pkgs in arm64
3 pkgs in arm64
I'm trying to test a side install of MX-23 Xfce on my Orange Pi 5 using mxpi, but it fails b/c 3 packages are not available in the correct format:
--xfce4-notes
--xfce4-notes-plugin
--thunar-shares-plugin
I'm not finding them so far online to download, but it would be preferable anyway if this install method would work.
TIA

Re: 3 pkgs in arm64
i'm going to update the mxpi list to remove thunar-shares-plugin. I didn't realize it was still in there.
the others will have to be compiled for arm64 as they are not in debian. or I can make a special arm64 version of the pm file to not include any of them. I don't think they are on the official release anyway.

Re: 3 pkgs in arm64
@Jerry3904 I just uploaded arm64 xfce4-notes packages to main. You may notice they are marked mx21. We just added that package to the MX-23 repo at the beginning of MX-23 development and never updated it.
XFCE4 did recently update it so that's on the to do list...

Re: 3 pkgs in arm64
I have no idea. the package is definitely in the arm64 repo. maybe something wrong with the apt cache on the local machine?Jerry3904 wrote: Sat Apr 13, 2024 2:05 pm Purged the backports, tried again and it looked like it was going to go butTried to fix itCode: Select all

Re: 3 pkgs in arm64
Tried to install the cached pkg, see the error:I would remove the OPi package, since those defaults are pretty terrible, but suppose it will just get overwritten sooner or later.
