MX Package Installer problem

#1 Post by TuxNuX »

The MX package installer updates me to 98 packages that don't need updating, it reinstalls the same versions
no problem with synaptic, apt command line, Discover and "MX Update apt-notifier"
Another thing, it's not in French
I don't know well debian packages
is there a command to redo the database like for RPM packages?
as
save the old database and delete it and
"rpm -vv --rebuilddb"
