3.5" jack output making clicking sound

Help for Current Versions of MX
When asking for help, use Quick System Info from MX Tools. It will be properly formatted using the following steps.
1. Click on Quick System Info in MX Tools
2. Right click in your post and paste.

Ok thanks for the codec, in addition to Cb's config request....I found this post

OP reports glitches or skipping not clicking.....but as its the same codec it may have merit.
so if full reboot with a config1 then full reboot with config2.....if that does not work see if you have a pipewire/pulseaudio config that has this setting please
load-module module-switch-on-port-available
and then disable it and full reboot.
2) I do not use pipewire or pulseaudio so will leave any trouble shooting to Charlie Brown if he has time.

Sorry for the delay. I tried everything but still nothing. So I did something radical and bought an external sound card and everything is fine now. Thanks for trying though. :happy:
