Error opening SPICE console: Namespace SpiceClientGtk not available

#1 Post by nasheayahu »

Afternoon,

After installing all I believe to be required for KVM and after getting this,
Error connecting to graphical console:
Error opening SPICE console: Namespace SpiceClientGtk not available
and after installing both packages,
gir1.2-spiceclientglib-2.0
gir1.2-spiceclientgtk-3.0
I still get the error message, do I need to reboot again or what else is needed?

Just installed and along with any spice- search, these are installed as well either before or after,
spice-client-glib-usb-acl-helper
spice-client-gtk
spice-vdagent
I have not reboot the system, but restarted libvirtd and got the same result. Is there something else I can do before rebooting the system to get this to work?
