HP 15 Notebook [Solved]
Re: HP 15 Notebook
and some HP's ... need you to setup an Administrator password in BIOS before they will SHOW you the ability to turn off UEFI too! (You can remove the password if you like later, but this was the only way I could even see that option in several HP's now.)
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

Re: HP 15 Notebook
+1 to the above as it seems to be more frequent. Many times compounded by the PC owner not seeking out the online manual for their machine.CharlesV wrote: Tue Jan 02, 2024 11:54 am and some HP's ... need you to setup an Administrator password in BIOS before they will SHOW you the ability to turn off UEFI too! USB boot (ability) being off by default (and hidden behind the password wall) is a 'rising star' in the 'just, why?' of UEFI firmware 'logic' if you want to call it that!
