Puo' un DAC esterno suonare diversamente con motherboard diverse?

Come da titolo, ho sostituito una vecchia motherboard (asrock a320m-hdv r4.0) con una piu' nuova (msi pro b650-s wifi) e ho notato che l'audio in cuffia collegata al DAC topping dx3 pro+ e' diverso, sia che setto come uscita "topping dx3 stereo digitale IEC958" che "topping dx3 stereo analogico".
In /etc/pulse/daemon.conf il campionamento e' settato a 192Khz float32le come era prima, ma adesso noto bassi meno potenti e meno estesi, in PulseEffects l'analizzatore di spettro ora non permette di settare la frequenza minima al di sotto di 20Hz e il segnale di test parte da 20Hz mentre prima potevo scegliere anche 5Hz...
Puo' essere che, anche se non utilizzata, la scheda audio della MB impone le sue caratteristiche al suono di un DAC esterno? Se disabilito da bios la scheda audio della MB, puo' cambiare qualcosa? Grazie a tutti.

Forse trovato il problema: Firefox.
Ho analizzato il grafico della risposta in frequenza su firefox di un brano di youtube con l'analizzatore di spettro di pulseeffects e risulta attenuato sulle subsoniche e sulle alte frequenze a forma di "parabola rovesciata",inoltre non avviene il resampling (anche forzandolo su pulse) da 48khz a 192khz, tutto questo non succede su chromium, che sia una nuova ritorsione di google-youtube che spinge per farti usare il suo browser? Sta di fatto che con chromium l'audio e' come lo ricordavo.
