that message comes up no matter what, even when chromium launches. red herring. its just checking for old bluetooth libraries and its part of rpi's modifications of the package if I read the forums correctly.Jerry3904 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2023 11:21 am OK, I tried to launch chromium in a terminal--and saw the same error message I sent you earlier about missing bluealsa, then a zillion repeats about "failure to get fd for plane" and "no export buffer to dma_buf: no such file or directory."
Much less important: pls change the desktop icon for the YT vid to a recognizable video icon such as /usr/share/icons/Papirus/24x24/mimetypes/video-mp4.svg
so reboot and see if chromium launches.
