I have downloaded Asciiquarium from the package provided by @Stevo

Surfing the zip /asciiquarium-1.1_project/asciiquarium_1.1/ I get two folders, mine is mx21, I have moved this folder to my Documents folder, where I have executed the .deb via mx new deb installer. Installation seemed to be okay, however I can't find any icon or command in terminal to execute it.

Any tips for a mortal like me 9_9

Thank you.
I executed the MX Linux 21 .deb in a subfolder of ~/Downloads but "asciiquarium" isn't recognized in terminal.

Does it need to be updated for MX-23.1_x64, or perhaps I needed to execute the .deb elsewhere, please?

Thanks.

+1 for repackaging this for MX 23. No high priority, though :happy:
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Main: MX 23 | Second: Mint 22 | HTPC: Linux Lite 7 | VM Machine: Debian 12 | Testrig: Arch/FreeBSD 14 | Work: RHEL 8

" My fail was trying to execute the program from the same terminal screen, during the installation, at that time terminal didn't recognize the command, red color on zh.
With new terminal, program is running okay. ;)"

I moved the content into Documents then I used the new .deb installer. Then run it on a new terminal.

This is MX-21 Fluxbox, no idea if integration with MX-23 is needed.

I'll see about an MX 23 rebuild, and if xpenguins and xsnow need rebuilds for it.
MXPI = MX Package Installer
QSI = Quick System Info from menu
The MX Test repository is mostly backports; not the same as Debian testing

There also needs to be libterm-animation-perl installed, which has no MX 23 package until now. I've rebuilt both and they'll be in the main repos, along with a newer xsnow for the holidays and a rebuild of xpenguins 3.2.1 for MX 23.
