Thanks, very helpful. Must be the monitor, I guess.

Highly irregular use of this thread: my basic customization of B2 this morning, nice match of wallpaper with smaller logo and conky flair

Like the look!

I was about to ask if we should show the CPU temperature somewhere, as it's a bit of an issue with Pi 5.

That's a very good question. The one I use in that image is the only one I can think of off-hand.

If @dolphin_oracle would be willing to switch default conky I could easily modify the one we use to include temp. I'll do a test this afternoon (4hrs from now) so people can see how it would look.

yes it can be adjusted. that selection is not part of any package, so there are no conflicts to worry about.

I'm seeing a problem with a freshly downloaded b2. The mouse cursor flashes at about 1Hz. If I turn Conky off, it stops the flashing. Changing to a different Conky doesn't fix the problem.

I've seen that and was able to almost eliminate it by adjusting the values in the Mouse and Touchpad settings. On the road for a few hours but will report working settings when I get back.Another example of wishful thinking...

EDIT: gets screwed up when I move it over to the Pi 5 where there is no battery. Will review tomorrow again, rats.

@Jerry3904 Since this is for the (no-battery) Pi 5 respin, you probably should remove the battery section.
Here is a version without that section. Tried to maintain the same layout, but grouped the system items to make it visually more coherent.
Trust that transparency can be set enabled/disabled using conkymanager2.
