#1 Post by dotw »

is there any lightweight software for some simple annotation functions to be performed on pictures such as highlighting or marking a part of a picture?

Hi,

I use Ksnip (not a KDE specific piece of software).

It's a screenshot tool, but can be used to open and add to normal picture files.

See here: https://imgur.com/yd4dhmz. This is a screenshot that I've put a few examples into. It'll do the same with jpg etc...

Richard.
