mx-datetime in MX 21 Repo is outdated

mx-datetime in MX 21 Repo is outdated

I check my synaptic in my Custom MX Linux VM and find mx-datetime, it is outdated 23.5.01 in the repo while 23.7 is last updated in MX 21

the later version of mx-datetime is pushed out to mx23 users. there is a change in the time sync daemon used and we did not push that out to mx21, and will not.

I'm not sure how you got an older bookworm mx-datetime version installed in MX-21 but if you check the mx-datetime github you'll see that while the master branch has 23.7.04, there's a separate bullseye (the mx-21 base) branch with 23.5.01
And in your Synaptic screenshot, you'll see
23.7 (now)
23.5.01 (mx)
The (now) meaning it's not in any repository, just in your machine.

yeah, i think, 23.7 is last version to not move from NTPsec to Chrony according to changelog. and also, 23.7 is not having mx23 version number.
