Can anyone recommend a smaller sized scanner that you know works with Mx 23.1, Kernel 6.5 AHS? I just need it to scan to pdf.
Also, if it can be purchased through Amazon.
Thanks.
Recommend a small scanner?
Re: Recommend a small scanner?
I particularly like the Canon LIDE series of scanners. Here's a link to my local dealer so that you can get an idea about their size etc:

HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;
In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Re: Recommend a small scanner?
Awesome. I had seen that exact scanner when looking on Amazon, and I thought it looked perfect for me. I'm glad you've had experience with them.j2mcgreg wrote: Tue Nov 07, 2023 2:47 pm I particularly like the Canon LIDE series of scanners. Here's a link...
And the price is right - $57.
Thanks! It's ordered!
